Heartiest Greetings!

I take this opportunity to convey my best wishes & heartiest Greetings on this auspicious day of Shubh Deepawali. This Deepawali brings renewed energy to the members of DCBA thanks to an effective team in place with a long-desired task in hand, i.e empowering the CB Community and rightful recognition.

Soon after the AGM and elections held on September 1, 2024, the new MC took up many burning issues with competent authorities right from the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), Delhi Customs Commissionerate, Noida Customs Commissionerate, DG System, NACIN and PGAs to Custodians at different ports.

During this less than two-month period, we have achieved some significant milestones which have PAN India impacts. Revision of the criteria of F card examination, auto display of Advisories pertaining to System down time on Customs ICEGATE System and quick redressal of data integration issues between Customs, PGAs and Custodians are some of those achievements.

We have chalked out some micro as well as macro level plans for ensuing days to ensure substantial and sustainable benefits for our members/CB fraternity and the Exim trade at large.

A strong and visionary Team DCBA can only script the success story of CBs. Accordingly, ‘the mantra of DCBA would be 'CB first' in making the Association relevant at the all India level to serve the entire nation.

Very soon I will share some thoughts, exchange ideas and seek your active participation in all initiatives of the new MC for the betterment of the CB community across the country.
